Do you like to talk about books? Do you like cats? Then we’ve got the purr-fect event for you!The Yankton Community Library, 515 Walnut, will host a Silent Book Club on Saturday, January 24 from 2-4 PM. This event is intended for adults who are 18 years of age or older. Heartland Humane Society of Yankton will have cats available for you to cuddle while reading!
Our Silent Book Club will feature a brief opening introduction and chance to discuss what you are currently reading or to tell us about your favorite books and authors, followed by a quiet period to relax and read. BYOB—Bring Your Own Book, magazine or graphic novel to read! Comfy chairs and light refreshments will be provided.
This event is free and there is no registration required. If you need additional accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the library.
