Come on down to the last meet up for 2025! We are ending our 2025 year with a little holiday flare ✨ We're having our meet up, as well as a Holiday Sweater Contest and a Bookmark/Book Swap! Wednesday, Dec 17th at the Ecusta Market + Cafe, from 6-8pm.How our meetups work:
6-6:30 = arrive with any book YOU wish to read. No assigned books here! Grab a drink, grab a snack, and grab a seat. Say hi to your fellow book worms!
6:30-7:30 = silent reading hour. You're welcome to read, write, color, etc., as long as it is silent!
7:30 - 8 = silent reading is over and we're back to socializing! Or keep reading, whatever you want!
For this event, we're having a few extra special moments:
1. Come dressed in your best (or ugliest) holiday sweater! For those interested, we will have you showcase your sweater for all to see and submit votes that will reveal the winners after the silent reading hour!
2. Bring any books or bookmarks you want to get rid of, and you'll get a chance to take new ones home! Even if you don't bring anything, you'll still have an opportunity to peruse the selection. However! The more books you bring, the earlier you'll get to check out the table. So donations extremely encouraged! When you arrive, leave your books on the swap table but DON'T take any until instructed to!
As a reminder, this event is always free, open to the public, open to all ages, and the location does have parking. See you soon!
