Welcome to the Haymarket chapter of Silent Book Club and happy new year!!We'll be in the back room of Parrando’s as usual.
For those of you new to silent book club, here's what to expect:
- Bring your own book! No assigned reading here, just bring whatever book, ebook, or audiobook you're currently working on
- Free to attend! But come hungry and order some food to support the lovely venue 🙂
- A great, low pressure way to make bookish friends while working through your TBR pile!
6-6:30 socializing, settling in, and ordering food/snacks/drinks
6:30-7:30 quiet reading time
7:30-8 optional socializing (or just keep reading!)
Feel free to bring headphones for the quiet reading time if you're sensitive to ambient noise. We can't wait to read with you!
