This fall, Silent Book Club is officially celebrating its 10 year anniversary and is hosting a global Silent Book Club Readathon the weekend of Oct 10-12, bringing together our worldwide community of chapters and readers for the first time. Our goal is to have the largest collection of reader gatherings in the world!------------
Silent Book Club is a book club with no assigned reading and no required discussion. Read together in quiet camaraderie!
The afternoon goes like this:
4:00-4:30pm - Arrive, order drinks/food, share what you're reading
4:30-5:30pm - Quiet reading hour
5:30-6:00pm - Optional socializing, or just keep reading!
Homer Hops offers both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as delicious food. Their beautiful updated outdoor patio is also open if you'd like to read outside!
