About this Event
Welcome to Silent Book Club Capitol Hill! We meet 2 or 3 times a month at a different restaurant or coffee shop around Capitol Hill to show support to our wonderful community!
We aren't your typical book club.
There is no assigned reading and you're welcome to use any medium to enjoy your story (i.e. paperback, audiobook, kindle, etc.). This is a judgement free zone. If you're into fiction, non-fiction, or graphic novels, bring whatever you enjoy!
Our mission is to create a welcoming environment for a diverse group to share their love of books while supporting local businesses in the process. This event we will be collaborating with a new mobile bookstore, Lost The Plot Books!
There mission is to provide a sanctuary for curious minds to build community, discover new worlds and possibilities, and explore all kinds of stories—all while crafting a better world for those who have fought for centuries to reclaim their voices and power. They will be providing a curated selection of books to purchase !
