Come and join us for this 2 hour workshop that focusses on the use of the Karambit and knife. This is the third in a series of 2 hr workshops that will showcase some of the varied weapons used in Silat.
The 'Karambit' is a small curved knife originating from Indonesia, it has a wide range of techniques and applications which we will explore. It is a weapon that has been recently popularized in movies and other mainstream media. It is one of favorites too.
We will be covering a range of topics that include distraction strikes, trapping, locks and disarms. As well as various control techniques against a variety of attacks, both armed and unarmed.
