SIKSA is a feminist duo arranged for voice, bass, lyrics and bodies. Their concerts combine the energy of a punk, performative poetry or contemporary dance. In the limitations of the instruments and stage presence, the duo finds the strength to carve their own path. In this work, the personal meets the political, and the unspoken meets the deafening.

MSEA is the solo project of Maria-Carmela Raso. Her music has been described as nightmare pop, ethereal and moody with hints of Julee Cruise and a more demented Anohni. Using electronics, voice, and various instruments, she creates a sound world of her own - exploring the boundaries between beauty and discomfort. Sometimes unsettling or melancholic, always genre-bending, this solo project shifts and grows along with the living organism behind it. With three EPs released, her first full-length record Our Daily Apocalypse Walk was released in September 2023. Sometimes solo, sometimes a small orchestra - the current iteration of her live band is made up of Ægir Sindri Bjarnason on drums, Silla Thorarensen on synth and background vocals, Halla Kristjánsdóttir on bass and bass synth and Maria-Carmela Raso - composer, band leader, vocals and production.
