Sikes Lake Marathon ChallengeWichita Falls, how do you feel? Crazy enough for a challenge?
Then join me on December 7th at 8 a.m. at Sikes Lake! I'll be running 24 laps around the lake, a full marathon. Everyone is invited to join me, a marathon (24 laps), a half marathon (12 laps), or as many laps as you like (e.g., as final preparation for the Dallas Marathon).
This crazy idea came from a friend in Germany who started the Kuhsee Marathon Challenge there. It started as a small private run for a few crazy people, but has now officially become part of the Club 100 (counts as an official run toward the 100-marathon milestone).
The run on December 7th is a private run, where everyone brings their own food and no liability is assumed! I would be very happy if a few runners would join me �! Just send me a short message if you're interested, maybe I'll create a few medals. More information to follow!
Important: Time isn't important; the focus should be on having fun! Run, walk, talk, whatever you want!
This is a private race, not an official one! There is no organizer, even though some are mentioned here.
