Feeling the autumnal change in the air are you ready to embrace your own?

No matter what’s on your plate this season center yourself with Faithfully Sustainable as we take you on our second dhikr walk of the year in New York City. Signs in the City: Dhikr in Central Park is an intimate event that connects participants to the Islamic practice of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) while immersing ourselves in nature and tuning in to the signs inside and out.

“Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (13:28)

In the sacred practice of dhikr or the remembrance of Allah we return to our soul’s deepest truth: that Allah is our Lord the only One worthy of worship. Dhikr reminds us of who we are and why we are here. As we turn inward in reflection Allah calls us to look outward:

"We will show them Our signs in the universe and within themselves..." (41:53)

In response to this call Faithfully Sustainable welcomes you on a walk of collective remembrance through nature blending breath movement and sacred litanies to glorify Allah and honor our role as stewards of His creation. Through breathwork we’ll build awareness of our inner state deepen our connection to Allah and His creation and align our bodies voices and hearts with our inner light—a source of divine wisdom that guides our path.

Whether dhikr is part of your daily practice or this is your first time hearing about dhikr our welcoming guest facilitator Malika Ali will guide you through it in communal practice uniquely combining breathwork and movement for a reinvigorating mind-body-spirit experience.
