As a child, Deborah Jean Nielsen’s first love was art. As a teen, she enjoyed reading about psychology and philosophy. This inspired her to dive into the field of Art Therapy, and Psychotherapy. She is recognized for her work as an EMDR Therapist, guiding clients to unravel the impact of trauma.
Ms. Nielsen has three main creative modalities : writing, drawing and painting.
Deborah Jean Nielsen has developed her own theory and practice, called Integrative Bridging. This is a powerful psychotherapy process that facilitates a conscious connection and integration between the three key, universal self aspects. Deborah has two adult children, and enjoys time in nature.
Daniel Whaley is an Air Force veteran, and career law enforcement officer, and debut author with a sharp wit and a deep appreciation for family, loyalty, and the backroads that shape a man’s story. With over two decades of service behind the badge, Daniel brings gritty authenticity and emotional depth to his storytelling—often weaving together suspense, memory, and the haunting truths that never quite stay buried.
His debut novel, Reunion, explores how the past echoes through small towns and second chances, gripping readers with a blend of mystery, nostalgia, and heart. Known for his sarcastic humor and unflinching honesty, Daniel writes stories that speak to those who know what it means to carry the weight of experience and the value of redemption.
When he’s not writing, Daniel enjoys time outdoors, fishing, and creating memories with his wife and children. He is a fierce advocate for the law enforcement community and a proud supporter of those who serve.
