Join the legend and the man himself, Bernard Callebaut, for a three hour hands-on Course of Chocolate-Making! This course is what we call the Introduction to Tempering with Bernard. Learn tips and tricks from a Master in the industry, and how you can create your own chocolate creations at home.
Learn the history of chocolate, analyzing ingredients of candy vs. Chocolate bars, cocoa content influencing and it’s role in flavour profiles.. and of course, the most important thing: TEMPERING!
What is the science behind it? Learn all of the tricks and why it’s a chocolatier’s best friend.
Bernard guides the class through the process of tempering your own bowl of chocolate, and once you have reached that perfect temper - you'll begin making your various creations.
Learn how to make chocolate bars, hand-moulded salted caramel truffles and hot chocolate bombs, that you fill and decorate!
Then take home everything you make to enjoy.. ?
(Each person goes home with about 2lbs of chocolate! Yum!)
