From lush harmonies, to singable melodies, Russian symphonic music seems to hold space in pretty much every music lovers' lists of favorite works. For this concert, we feature soloist Sebastian Chang on Rachmaninoff's virtuosic Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. Almost by fate, we revisit Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 having performed it in 2015, when the orchestra celebrated its 100th anniversary. This concert is supported by Fund for the Arts.
