Signal Serves + Northside Neighborhood House Snack Bags for Students: Helping Families Over the Weekends

Join Us in Supporting Hamilton County Students
Signal Serves is a new outreach organization under the MEF umbrella that focuses on giving back to the community. Signal Serves is partnering with Northside Neighborhood House to provide Snack Bags for students in Hamilton County. These bags will be sent home with children over the weekend to ensure they have food during the break from school. Together, we can help fight food insecurity in our community!

How You Can Help
We are collecting snacks & nonperishable foods to fill Snack Bags for students. Ideas are: (in individual sizes):
• Granola Bars * Fruit Snacks
• Rice Krispie Treats * Crackers, Pretzels, & Nuts
• Instant Oatmeal * Individual Snack Bags (Famous Amos, Goldfish, etc)
• EZ Mac Cups * Fruit Cups & Applesauce
Drop-Off Location: SMMHS Office

Volunteer to Pack Snack Bags!
Volunteering & Donations are welcome from all SMMHS, Nolan, Thrasher, and Signal Mountain Community Members!
We need volunteers to help pack the Snack Bags for distribution. Sign up to volunteer and be part of this effort to feed families in need!
• Community Packing Event Date: Monday, October 6, 2025 (*some clubs & sports have separate events)
• Location: SMMHS Middle School Gym
• Time: 5pm
