Hear from Canada's first exhibition space that is an “On the Road to Zero Waste Recognized Facility” the Edmonton EXPO Centre, and take a private tour of the Edmonton Convention Centre to get an up-close look at waste management practices in major event facilities. Explore some general waste materials seen at events, common barriers to waste reduction and diversion, and practical solutions for overcoming them.
Learn about the wide range of benefits of adopting a Zero Waste approach, which extend beyond waste reduction, impacting everything from your event's climate impact to its costs and overall image.
Followed by a recap and discussion period with some networking, appetizers and refreshments.
