We welcome you to join BC Services Mobile Unit, Emergency Management and Climate Change, and Cowichan Tribes Emergency Services on November 27, 2024, and/or on December 11, 2024, at the Si'em Lelum Gym. This session is to help citizens access the BC Services app and learn how you can receive support through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) during an emergency.
Even if you aren't comfortable using this type of technology, please join us in-person to learn more about how to receive support in an emergency.
To help you and your family be more prepared during an emergency and receive immediate support directly to your bank account if eligible during an evacuation or an emergency event:
1) Have your registration and referrals paperwork done online
2) Pre-register on the BC Services App
Bring your BC Services Card (former Care Card) and your electronic device (phone, tablet, laptop) to the event to gain immediate access.
