Experience , an exhibition showcasing the historical, cultural, and creative connections of Asian Americans to Washington, D.C. And join us every second Saturday of the month for Sightlines Saturdays!
For this month's in-gallery program--Love Letters--visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the exhibition at noon, then participate in a hands-on activity from 1-3 p.m., exploring local murals and creating their own love letters to their communities.
Presented by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, the Sightlines exhibition is on view on the first floor of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

End the day with our feature program, the dance performance Seeds of Toil: Three Asian American Stories of Resilience and Resistance, from 4-6pm, in the McEvoy Auditorium. Performed by the , this modern dance triptych tells the stories of Koreans working on Hawaiian pineapple plantations in the early twentieth century, Japanese Americans unjustly incarcerated during World War II, and the solidary between Filipino and Mexican farmworkers in 1960s California.
