خطوط النظر: الممارسة الفنية بين الناس والمكان ندوة عامة تُقام يوم 4 أكتوبر 2025 في مركز الخليفة الخدمي.

من يصيغ حكايات المدينة؟ ومن يُستبعد منها؟
تجمع هذه الندوة العامة فنانين وممارسين ثقافيين من مختلف أنحاء إفريقيا لاستكشاف كيف يشترك الناس والمكان والممارسة الفنية في تشكيل الحياة العمرانية.
نتساءل معًا: مع أي مجتمعات نعمل؟ وكيف يتأثر ما ننتجه بالمساحات والأماكن التي نمارس فيها عملنا، سواء كانت استوديو أو مبنى أو حيًّا بأكمله؟ وكيف يمكن لتلك المجتمعات والمساحات أن تقيّد ممارساتنا الفنية أو تلهمها؟
تفتح ندوة «خطوط النظر» هذا الحوار، جامعـة أصواتًا من السنغال وأوغندا والسودان ومصر في نقاش مفتوح. تحاول الندوة تفكيك الجوانب الخفية والروابط الاجتماعية وسياسات الحياة اليومية التي تحدد كيف يُصاغ الفن ويُتداول في المدينة. يكشف المشاركون، من خلال ممارساتهم، عن الطرق التي يمكن بها للفن أن يتخطى الحواجز وأن يخلق روابط ويعبّر عن أشكال جديدة من المشاركة.

This symposium gathers artists and cultural practitioners from across Africa to explore how community, place, and artistic practice collide in the making of urban life.
Together, we ask: Which communities do we work with? How do the spaces we work in—whether a studio, a building or an entire neighborhood—inform what we create? And how do both limit, challenge, or inspire our artistic practices?
Sightlines, the public symposium opens this conversation, bringing international voices from Senegal, Uganda, Sudan and Egypt into dialogue. It tries to unpack the hidden infrastructures, social ties, and everyday politics that determine how art is made and shared in the city. Through their practices, they reveal how art can negotiate boundaries, build alliances, and express new ways of belonging.
