Please join us for a sighthound social dog walk being held in Woodbank Park, Turncroft Lane, Offerton, Stockport SK1 4JR
Walk details:
Date: Sunday 26th October 2025
Time: Meet at 9.30 am for a 10.00 am start
Walk: Two routes of 30 minutes or an hour
Meet: Woodbank Car Park, Little Moor Lane, SK1 4BB
*Sighthounds and companion breeds from same household only please
*Suggested £2 donation per hound
*Halloween Fancy Dress encouraged (but only if your hound is comfortable with this) with a prize for best dressed hound.
*All dogs to remain on leads, no extendable leads please
*Cafe and toilets available
*Cafe in the park, run by Pure Innovations, is kindly donating biscuits for humans and hounds after the walk (Thanks to our volunteer Paul Wainhouse for arranging this)
*Merchandise available after the walk - dog coats, natural treats and crafts.
*Opportunity to take part in a 'Name the Dog Card' for £2 a go, with three great prizes on offer.
*Car park has height and width restrictions: Height 2m (6 ft 6 ins)
