At Lygtens Kro we are sometimes humbled to have bands who have outgrown our small venue but choose to come to enjoy our intimate settings. We feel privileged to announce a very special unplugged concert with SIENNA ROOT!!!!
Siena Root is a band with a strong legacy and wide musical tradition, so what could possibly be more thrilling than hearing the band in a completely acoustic setting? This will be the first chance to catch them on tour with this beautiful setting.
This goes way deeper than your standard "MTV Unplugged"—it’s not just the guys with a couple of plugged-in acoustic guitars. This is a totally different setting—maybe a moment to hear the songs in a closer way to how they originally were written.
Since the very beginning, the band has had a strong connection to the acoustic sound. It goes all the way back to the introduction of the instrumental "Rasayana" on the debut album A New Day Dawning, via the eastern-inspired "Different Realities" with all the "Rock-Raagas," to the latest album Revelation, which actually features some songs that are completely written and recorded in an acoustic setting.
Although the band has performed acoustic shows occasionally in the past, this will truly be the first chance to catch them on tour with this beautiful setting. Expect a splendid mix of acoustic songs as they were originally intended to be played, combined with reworked heavy-riff classics in a more intimate format! This is something you'd really want from any band—here you have it, exclusively with dynamic root rockers Siena Root.
