About the Book
She can find the truth. She can find the killers. But she might lose herself...
Jane Sharp knows you’ve been waiting for her to break her silence—for a year, she’s received your pleas and death threats. This is her gutting, confessional response, the true story of what happened during the Delphine Massacres that horrified and fascinated the world, then left everyone with unanswered questions.
After the unexpected death of her father, Jane finds herself in the world of armchair detectives, solving cases with a motley crew of fellow sleuths. When a TV show features their work on an episode about amateur crime-solving heroics, the group becomes the face of everything new and valiant about internet investigation. So when new of the brutal deaths of three college sorority girls takes the world by storm, Jane and her fellow sleuths know they can solve the case. But the Delphine case doesn’t unfold like Jane and her crew are used to. Details are scarce, the police are acting cagey about facts that don’t add up, and there seems to be more media attention and internet theorizing than actual evidence. When the on-the-ground authorities run into one dead end after another, Jane and her band of newly minted investigative masters step in. And so begins their relationship with a series of murders that will change their lives.
