❓What's a Sidesword?❓
The weapon of choice for many "heroes" of historical fencing, the Sidesword was the typical sword of the renaissance. It was worn by people of many places and classes, used equally in civilian and military context. It represents a harmony of cutting and thrusting techniques, lunging back and forth, and graceful sidestepping. In some sense a short rapier, in another sense a stouter sabre.
By the end of the course, you'll be all ready to fence using this unique method of Sidesword Fencing.
