About this Event
Join us for JHACH Fall Sickle Cell Symposium to learn more about the latest treatments and therapies available and meet and interact with patients and families who have been impacted by this genetic condition. This family friendly educational event includes sessions on new therapies including blood transfusions, gene therapy and bone marrow transplant and interactive play for school age kids.
Let’s also talk about the challenges and triumphs, excitement and fear of the difference of transitioning from pediatric to adult care. Hear from our keynote speaker who will share his journey, interact with patients, families and community supporters.
We will also have presentations from Eat2Thrive, Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Children’s Cancer Center, Camp Boggy Creek and more!
