La Bocca Ristorante & Vineria is hosting a 4-course wine dinner experience in the newly renovated La Bocca Events room on Thursday, January 22 at 6:30 p.m. The event was created in collaboration with Selected Estate of Europe and Sommeliers; Michele Marino, and La Bocca co-owner, Alessandro Crocco.
The evening will be an unforgettable evening celebrating the depth, elegance, and soul of Sicily through a curated wine dinner featuring three exceptional DOC Sicilia wines from Azienda Gulfi. This immersive experience will take guests on a journey from sun-drenched coastal vineyards to the limestone-rich hills of the Monti Iblei, each pour thoughtfully paired with a chef-driven menu designed to elevate every nuance in the glass.
The evening begins with Valcanzjria DOC Sicilia, a refined blend of Chardonnay and Carricante—crisp, aromatic, and beautifully balanced with notes of apple, exotic fruit, and a delicate mineral finish. Next, enjoy Rosà DOC Sicilia Rosato, a vibrant Nero d’Avola rosé bursting with floral aromas, white fruit, and refreshing acidity, perfect for pairing with elegant seafood courses. The night concludes with the bold and expressive Nerojbleo DOC Sicilia Rosso, a 100% Nero d’Avola aged in French oak, offering intense ruby color, red fruit, subtle vanilla, and a long, harmonious finish.
