We’re back at Bio Skandia for something a little different this time— a special SICC Day Festival! On Saturday 18th October, we’ll be screening two acclaimed gems from last year’s Stockholm International Film Festival line-up, both with English subtitles:🦚 Peacock (2024, directed by Bernhard Wenger) @ 16.30
❤️ Loveable (2024, directed by Lilja Ingolfsdottir) @ 19.30
As always, we’ll gather to connect and mingle — this time with three meetups throughout the day: before the first film, between screenings, and after the second. Come for one film or stay for both and make a day of it!
These screenings come just ahead of this year’s Stockholm International Film Festival, which kicks off next month — a perfect chance to revisit two festival favourites and get in the mood for another great season of cinema.

Peacock (2024)
Matthias is a master of his profession. Do you need a “cultured boyfriend” to impress your friends? A “perfect son” to influence your business partners’ opinion of you? Or maybe just a sparring partner to rehearse an argument? Whatever it is, just rent Matthias! While he excels at pretending to be someone else every day, just being himself is the real challenge. This absurdist piece of cinema from Bernhard Wenger is not one to miss!
Loveable (2024)
Following a woman navigating the quiet disintegration of her marriage, Loveable is a tender and piercing portrait of love, self-worth, and emotional renewal. Marked by Ingolfsdottir’s delicate direction and grounded performances, the film has been hailed as one of the most intimate Norwegian dramas in recent years.
