Sibling Grief Meet Up
Hello there,
I was walking down the road earlier and found myself really struggling with grief. It’s been five years since I lost my big sister, but the impact of that loss is still huge and, at times, completely overwhelming. I’ve just turned 50, and I don’t really know many people who have lost a sibling. I’m not comparing grief — everyone has their own journey — but I do feel that sibling grief is often overlooked.
So I thought: why not create a small, informal gathering. If anyone feels the same, we could have a coffee, share some stories — or not. We could even just sit in silence. There’s possibly something claming about sitting with people who understand the enormity of losing a sibling.
Thanks for reading. I’m Ross, I’m friendly and easy going, and I’ll be here for a few hours. If anybody wants to join me, that would be great. I also have a lovely wee dog called Peggy, who loves a cuddle.
