Our very own songbird, Sian Allen, shares the bill with popular local singer Emma Scarr.
Sian, accompanies her lovely voice on the guitar, though she also plays trumpet, saxophone and flute with Robb Johnson and the Irregulars. She sings modern and traditional folk songs, and occasionally original material, inspired by the stories they tell.
Emma is an urban and country singer from East London and is inspired by stories of ordinary people in ordinary situations, capturing everyday experiences. She crafts these stories into a poem or song in simple language and unflinching honesty, reminding us that they are neither mundane nor unimportant, but expressions of our time.
