GUESS WHO'S BACK! We've got your evening covered with POETRY, MUSIC, BARS and BANGERS!

We’ve got two headliners bringing you music, fire bars, and spoken word between them, and an empty open mic sign up sheet with YOUR name on it.

If you have an artistic talent, we want you. Singer, rapper, spoken word artist, musician, dancer… any special talent you can bring to our stage, we’re waiting for you.

OUR FIRST SENSATIONAL HEADLINER – SAMIRHYMES! Sami Rhymes is an Award-Winning Spoken Word Artist, Poet, Author, Facilitator and Creative from London, UK. She has performed and headlined at a number of public and private events in London, nationally and abroad in Malaysia.

2022 saw Sami pick up “Best Female Spoken Word Poet” , perform nationally and also marked the release of her Debut EP “Triple Threat”. Media features include BBC Radio London, ITV news and S1:E3 of the BAFTA winning Sky Arts commissioned TV show Life & Rhymes to name a few.

Sami uses rhyme as a means of release and therapy and through her spoken word inspires people in her community to speak up and take action. Her poetry touches on everything from identity to relationships to mental health, injustices and day to day experiences.

She started writing young and had her first poem published at the age of 9. Her debut collection “20 Something” is available on Amazon and her next book and EP is in progress.

OUR SECOND INCREDIBLE HEADLINER - BRIDGE! Bridge is a spoken word artist, and some times music maker/rapper, from Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire. Performing since around 2011, his poems seamlessly interweave topics such as mental health, consciousness, love, ancient civilizations, nerd shxt, and his cat.

Go check out his poetry album on Spotify! (Link in his IG bio). Having taken inspiration from hip hop legends like Eyedea and Aesop Rock, Bridge is sure to leave everyone's heads spinning with his incredible flow, conscious thoughts, and awakening bars. The true definition of a humxn centring themselves on living humxnity - Bridge is an incredible being and an amazing artist to boot.

There'll be open mic sign up on the door at 6:30pm, so if you want to bring bars to the bar, do it. Spoken word artists, singers, rappers, DJs, musicians, we want to hear your shxt. Dancers, show us your moves. Bring your trumpets, harmonicas and cymbals. Get ready to crowd surf. If you can perform it, bring it. Let’s bring the arts together with one hell of a spin.

DANGER! WARNING! You will suffer with an uncurable case of FOMO if you don’t get your ass down for this one. We are not liable for broken hearts caused by tickets not bought in time.

THE INFO AND SHXT:

Hosted by the team you know and love from our shows online and across London, we will bring the bars and vibes to help raise money for homeless communities across the UK and worldwide, in partnership with sister organisation Safe (i)N Sound - because we give a SHXT.

Tickets are limited and we expect a sell-out, so cop yours before they go.

Please note, if funds are a struggle, don't let that stop you. Please message us on Facebook or Instagram, as we have a number of tickets reserved for those in need. We'd rather you were partying with us, than at home on your ones, so drop us a message and no questions are asked.

Shxts & Scribbles are now working in partnership with Stonewall Housing, a charity working to support LGBTQIA+ people facing homelessness. Please consider donating to Stonewall Housing via Shxts – 100% of donations go directly to them.

IMPORTANT: The show will start strictly at 7pm and will end at 10.30 pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm, and open mic sign up will be open from 6:30pm. Up to date information on this will be given via our IG page @shxtsandscribbles

Open mic sign-ups on the door and in person only and will not be accepted from any other source or platform.
