Friday 12th September – Ride Out to The Shuttleworth Collection, Old Warden Aerodrome, Biggleswade.
10.00 am departure from Sainsburys Bury St Edmunds ( IP32 7EJ ) following a scenic route through pretty Essex villages with a tea/coffee break around 1130 at The Officer’s Mess Duxford ( CB22 4QH ). Then on to Biggleswade and the Shuttleworth Collection (SG18 9DT) arriving around 1300. Admission to the Shuttleworth site is free including the Café and shop. However, the admission price to the Shuttleworth Collection itself is £17.50 reduced to £16.00 for those over 60. Depending on numbers, the drop-off system may be used on the ride out. This will be addressed by a short briefing given by Nigel on the day.”
