This time graciously hosted by the Institute of Contemporary Art, join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 2pm, Sunday afternoon!
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

Important Details:
OUR HOST: Our gracious host for this time will be the cafe in the ICA(https://www.icavcu.org). They're an inviting and inclusive presence in the community, so please thank them by purchasing something to eat or drink (it's all delicious; you won't regret it!).
SEATING INFORMATION: The ICA has graciously offered to allow us use of their cafe space for this event. There is no assigned seating; however, please be aware cafe business will continue per usual and be courteous to non-SUaW customers.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?: Whatever you need to be able to write, including earbuds, earphones, or earplugs if you'd like some noise cancellation while you work.
TECH SETUP: We hold our events around the community and outlet availability can't be guaranteed, so please come with freshly charged laptops.
OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING: We take a half-hour for socializing before starting each session. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.
BEING LATE IS OKAY: If you arrive after the hour has started, just show up and get settled. After the hour, we'll have another set of introductions, and don't hesitate to say hi to the organizers afterward! If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.
