Tour the TWO remaining grand shuls left in this iconic neighborhood, the cradle of American Jewish civilization. One is the first great house of worship built by Eastern European Jews, and the other a former church, believed to be a site on the Underground Railroad.
We start our tour at the Bialystoker Synagogue, the largest active orthodox congregation on the Lower East Side today, covered in colorful murals, showcasing Tiffany inspired glass windows, and end at the magnificently restored Museum at Eldridge Street. In between we will tour historic East Broadway, discussing the Henry Street Settlement, The Educational Alliance, Shteiblach Row, Seward Park, Rutgers's Square, the Forward building and more.
A portion of the proceeds is returned to the sites visited. Tour lasts approximately 2 1/2 -3 hours with significant amount of walking,

Tickets are $29 PP and an additional $3PP for tickets purchased at the door, pending availability.
