SEMINAR TOPIC: Spiritual care in hospice for the patient and the patient's family.
Join us on Sat., Nov. 22, from 3 - 4:30 p.m. to hear Rev. Noriko Kawai, Buddhist Temple of San Diego, an experienced hospice chaplain. She will be joined by Rev. Mica Togami, a former hospice chaplain in San Diego, currently working as the manager of Spiritual Care services at Sharp Memorial Hospital. All hospices provide chaplains to help address spiritual, existential, and relational aspects for those nearing the end of life as well as those of their families. The discussion will center around topics regarding learnings from patients and families.
