We are privileged to host world-renowned teachers David Rehm and Kate Hedin for a two-day workshop in Sheffield on 28-29 September. For this fantastic workshop, Kate and David will be helping 40-50 dancers improve and refine key movement and musicality skills with their in depth knowledge, humour and geeky brilliance! The nearby Stannington Community Centre is our home for the whole weekend, with a Dance on Saturday evening. This workshop is perfect for dancers with a couple of years of experience, and are comfortable with key movements such as outs and ins, throw-outs, lollies, etc. Please feel free to ask if you're unsure, but want to attend. Cost: £95
For those with less experience, or who just want extra learning, David and Kate will also be teaching our regular Sheffield balboa class on Thursday evening 26 September. How amazing is that!? This class will be specifically geared towards those with little or no experience. There is availability for private lessons with David and/or Kate on Friday afternoon/early evening, Monday morning, and possibly during Saturday and Sunday. These will be very helpful to anyone wanting to focus on specific aspects of their dancing. Their fees are $100 for one teacher, $160 for both, paid in dollars.
There are nearby hotels in Rivelin, Hillsborough and Broomhill, and in Sheffield City Centre. Buses from Hillsborough stop nearby, and there is plenty of car parking.
We currently have just 10 remaining full weekend places left. There are a couple of places available on Saturday only for £55, including the dance.
