About this Event
The Empty Bowls Project is a simple community meal of soup and bread to help remind people of the members of our community who are facing food-insecurity.
Choose a handmade ceramic bowl made by SHS student ceramic artists & fill it with delicious soups from local restaurants - before taking the bowl home to keep!
Round out your evening by attending The Highlander Theater Company's performance of 'Much Ado About Nothing' at 7:00. Dinner and a show!
Funds raised will benefit ‘Project Soup’ through the Greater Somerville Homeless Coalition. Project Soup, founded in 1969, is a food pantry and soup kitchen serving Somerville. Their mission is to address food insecurity in our community by providing healthy, wholesome groceries and meals. They serve roughly 900 families per month through their pantry, community meals, and home delivery program for the homebound.
