Help us beautify our Arboretum and Demonstration Gardens while learning about Urban Forestry.
Set your drought tolerant garden up for success this year! ISA Certified Arborist, Bridget Thorpe will be leading this hands on workshop for participants to learn proper pruning techniques for shrubs and gardens.
**NOTE: this workshop is intended for educational purposes and will not be available to use as service/volunteer hours

- Participants18 and older must submit a Participant Waiver and Release Form.
- Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian complete the Participant Waiver and Release Form.
- Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to attend.
Forms can be submitted electronically to [email protected], or brought with you to the event.
What to Bring to Volunteer:
- Closed-toed shoes
- Gardening attire
- Appropriate sun or rain protection (Sunscreen, Hat, Rain jacket, etc.)
- Water! Please bring plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated throughout the morning
- Recommended: Gardening-type gloves
