Shrove Tuesday is the day before Lent begins (which is Ash Wednesday). The name Shrove comes from word 'Shriven' meaning absolve.
Shrove Tuesday is observed by many Christians who make a point of self-examination during the season of Lent to consider the wrongs they need to repent and the areas of spiritual growth they desire for their lives.
This pancake dinner is open to everyone in the community, so invite your friends, neighbors, and classmates!
