TREC Training with Helen Wain (BHS Accredited Coach, Ride With Your Mind Coach, TREC Technical Delegate. Experienced TREC rider & coaches the GB International TREC team (& potential) team members.3 nights, continental breakfasts, 2 course eve meals, minimum 4 hours ridden group sessions with Helen Wain plus Map & POR (orienteering) training & exercises.
Accommodation
There are 4 shared twin rooms (2 with en suite) and 1 room for sole occupation in the farmhouse plus 3 shared bathrooms, all of which are of a high modern standard.
Limited places camping in wagons, trailers or tents will include use of a shower room, toilet, kitchen, dining room & lounge in the farmhouse.
Lunch will be on a DIY basis so you need to bring your own or buy it from the nearby local shops as required (there is a large Coop store in Church Stretton). There is a large fridge and freezer on site for shared use.
Evening meals will be provided consisting of a hot main course and pudding. (Vegan/Vegetarian option available).
Horse Accommodation
Corralling will be in fenced fields on site. You will be required to bring your own electric fencing to make up corals.
A limited amount of indoor stabling is available for a supplement.
Training
PTV & MA training session in the large 60 x 40 outdoor sand arena (minimum 4 hours) . Unridden POR training (approx 3 hours)
Day 1
Arrive after 1 pm to settle in and take the opportunity to explore the surrounding area on horseback.
2 course evening meals served in farmhouse
Day 2
Self serve continental breakfast.
Ridden training session (PTV & MA) in small groups (4-6)
Map & POR training & including practical exercises
You will also have time to explore the various routes I’ve ridden that you can copy from master maps.

Day 3
Self serve continental breakfast.

Nearby Church Stretton is a picturesque market town that has been a popular visitor destination since Edwardian times. The town centre is full of traditional shops to tempt you - from tea rooms to a three-storey antiques emporium should you wish to venture out without your horse.
