Shrewsbury Mothers Circle
Shrewsbury Mothers Circle is a calm, welcoming six-week group created to support you as a mother and celebrate the motherhood journey. Each weekly session offers time to slow down and spend time with other mothers in a relaxed, supportive setting.
Each week focuses on a different aspect of motherhood, helping you feel more settled in yourself, more confident in your own way of mothering, and more connected to your body and what you need. There is space to talk, to listen, to laugh together, to rest, and to step out of the constant doing and the mental load that often fills early motherhood.
What's included:
- Weekly in-person circle (Six Weeks): A welcoming, supportive space to slow down, connect, and celebrate being a mum.
- Gentle Structure: Each week explores a different aspect of motherhood, supporting confidence, self-trust, and connection to what you need.
- Time to talk, listen, rest, laugh, and step out of the constant doing and mental load of early motherhood.
- Honest, real conversations about the joys and challenges of this stage.
- Calming nervous-system support: Simple breathwork, gentle body-based practices and relaxation woven into each session.
- Two live sound journeys: Deeply restorative sound healings with live music included within the six weeks to support rest and emotional release.
- Tea & nourishing snacks
- Private WhatsApp group: A small, supportive group for connection and encouragement between sessions
This circle is for both first-time mothers and mothers who have recently welcomed another baby. Babies are welcome from birth until they are on the move.
This circle is for you if:
- You feel changed by motherhood in ways you didn’t expect
- You want a space where you are cared for, where your child is welcome and you can take some time for yourself to relax and receive
- You want connection with other mothers to share the journey with and have a laugh with
- You want to feel more confident, and resourced as a mother, from the inside out
- You sense that motherhood is a rite of passage, and you don’t want to walk it alone
- You may feel tired, tender, stretched, or quietly grieving who you used to be, and want to spend time with people who get it
This circle may not be the right fit if:
- You are looking for practical parenting techniques or problem-solving advice
- You prefer a fast-paced, goal-driven, or information-heavy group format
- You are currently seeking intensive therapeutic or crisis support beyond the scope of a group setting

About Me...
Hi I'm Emma Hutchinson, I’m a mother who enjoys bringing women together to slow down and enjoy motherhood.
I created this circle because there are plenty of spaces for babies, and far fewer that are truly for mums. I support mothers through the changes that come with having a baby, helping them feel more present, confident, and at ease in this season of life.
Babies are very welcome, but mothers are the focus. There’s no pressure to share, fix, or work on yourself. You can arrive as you are, have a cup of tea, chat, rest, and connect with others who can relate.
I do this work because I believe motherhood is something to be enjoyed, not rushed through.
It is one of, if not the most important, roles that we will ever play.
These early years are fleeting, and having space to slow down and savour them can make all the difference. When mothers have space to pause, connect, and feel supported, these early years can be richer and even more joyful.
I am an IACTM Certified Transpersonal Psychology Coach and Shamanic Practitioner, specialising in helping mothers thrive in motherhood.
