Shreddie King is the stage name of Elliott Countess, an Orlando-based guitarist and singer/songwriter with musical roots in traditional blues music. Under the Shreddie King name, Countess offers his take on the blues through classics in the Chicago, Mississippi Delta, Texas, and Memphis style blues and his tightly arranged original blues and soul tunes – either of which are liable to serve as launching points for improv sections that draw on more modern and diverse influences such as jazz, funk, roots rock, and jam music.
