Fayetteville-based Southern Conservation Trust and the City of Fayetteville will team up again for Shred & Recycle Day, happening Saturday, October 19, 9 a.m. to noon, at City Center Park.Participants are invited to bring paper for shredding and glass for recycling. There are a few limitations on what can be shredded and recycled.
Participants may bring up to 10 small boxes (banker’s box-sized) or five bags of paper for shredding, and the paper must be free of binder clips, binders, CDs and such. Please note, we are not recycling cardboard at this event. Participants will be responsible for reusing or recycling cardboard boxes.
Ceramics, windows, and auto glass will not be accepted. Electronics will not be accepted at this event.
City Center Park is located behind Fayetteville City Hall, 210 Stonewall Avenue West.
