Showroom Sounds is a music series hosted by Printed Threads, born out of the idea of cultivating creative community.
Each show takes place in Printed Threads' showroom, and features one of our favorite artists.
With a limited number of tickets available for each event, you'll be part of an exclusive audience, witnessing a unique musical performance up close and personal.

Alex Maas is an American musician based in Austin, TX. He is the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist for The Black Angels, as well as his self-titled solo project which debuted on December 4th 2020 and received 5/5 stars from the London Times.
Additionally, he serves as the singer of Mien and is the co-founder of both the Austin Psych Fest and Levitation festival.
Since forming in 2004 in Austin, TX, the Black Angels remain masterfully true to psych-rock forebears such as Syd Barrett, Roky Erickson, Arthur Lee and the members of the Velvet Underground, all of whom are name checked on “The River.” The band's global influence is solidified by their beloved, long-running Levitation Festival, the veritable ground zero for the genre’s past, present and future -- celebrating its 17th anniversary this year.
