#MeetTheResidents: Jennie Boultbee und Narumi Saso
Zum Abschluss ihrer Residenz in der Tanz Station geben die Tänzer*innen Jennie Boultbee und Narumi Saso im Rahmen eines Showings Einblicke in ihr Projekt „Unmaking Two“.
Wie verlernt der Körper? Wie entfaltet sich Raum? Was entsteht, wenn auferlegte Muster sich aufzulösen beginnen?
Die transdisziplinäre Performance „Unmaking Two“ untersucht die Spannung zwischen Uniformität und Improvisation – zwischen den sozialen Formen, in denen wir leben, und den inneren Kräften, die sich ihnen widersetzen. Die Arbeit erforscht den allmählichen Zerfall choreografischer Präzision in improvisatorische Brüche und hinterfragt, wie Systeme von Identität, Disziplin und Anerkennung im und durch den Körper aufrechterhalten werden.
✨ Nach dem Showing gibt es Gelegenheit zum gemeinsamen Austausch in entspannter Atmosphäre.

At the end of their residency at Tanz Station, dancers Jennie Boultbee and Narumi Saso will give insights into their project “Unmaking Two” in a showing.
How does the body unlearn? How does space unhold? What emerges when imposed patterns begin to unravel?
The transdisciplinary performance “Unmaking Two” explores the tension between uniformity and improvisation – between the social forms we inhabit and the inner forces that resist them. Rooted in embodied research, the work explores choreographed precision that gradually fractures into improvisational rupture, questioning how systems of identity, discipline, and recognition are held in and through the body.
