Come out to Crossroads and help raise money for an extraordinary young man right here on Oak Island!
Asa, a 18 year-old recent high school graduate, is a vibrant young adult who loves fishing, classic rock, and film studies. Living with myelomeningocele, hydrocephalus, scoliosis, and other medical challenges, he is striving for greater independence. A home makeover is planned for his family home on NW 25th street to support his goals, including a fully accessible bathroom, a reorganized bedroom with space for physical therapy, kitchen modifications, and a safer emergency egress with a deck and ramp. This project, led by a non profit, welcome home angel. aims to create a more functional and accessible living space tailored to Asa’s needs.
