
About this Event
This course is designed for the new or newer shotgun owner who would like to learn more about shotgun use, operation and handling. This intro/basic level course will provide the basic information and skills necessary to own, operate and safety handle a shotgun.
We will discuss the different types of shotguns, different uses, and provide guidance on selecting a shotgun as well.
This course is recommended for those who want to learn about shotgun shooting for clay/trap/sport shooting and/or home defense, with a great emphasis on home defense.
Pump / Semi-Auto shotguns are recommended for the course, however all shotguns are welcome. We do have shotguns avaialble for rent/use as well.
Student will need the following: Shotgun; Eye/Ear Protection; 100 rounds of Birdshot; 20 rounds of buckshot (defensive preferred); 10 shotgun slugs.
