Shot silk is a type of fabric, made by weaving together differently coloured threads to produce a material that preserves the distinct colours, shifting and shimmering between them depending on the angle and light.

Join us at the GLAD cafe for a concert of new and old music, inspired by this juxtaposition.

Baroque music for strings by Biber, Corelli, and Monteverdi, reimagined with live electronics, is paired with brand new works by Kassia Bailey, Riley Mackenzie, and Finn McLean.
