As Part of Northern Roll Festival in Leeds we are bringing you Shortstop all the way from Australia, thanks to Bont rollerskates.Shorty's Roller Derby Beginner Master Class!
To take full part in this session you must be approved for contact by your league.
To get the most out of this session, you will have played between 0 and 10 games and have been scrimmaging with your league. OTA.
Get rolling with Shorty's beginner roller derby master class. You'll be introduced to new and exciting moves for travelling the track, including things that you never thought you'd try. Be prepared to step out of your comfort zone, supported by one of the best skaters in the derby world.
You'll come away from this session with
-- more speed
-- strong strides
-- fancy footwork
-- solid jammer catches
-- and lots of ideas for how to approach a pack as a jammer
Tickets are £30 for Northern Roll festival ticket holders or £40 for non festival ticket holders.
