So, we did a thing....We were invited this summer by our dear friend Kerry to visit Short's Brewing in Bellaire, Michigan! So, we decided to take a road trip up to The Great Lake State to visit one of ÀLC's core beer and cider brands. We were ever so fortunate to spend the day with the one-and-only Joe Short, touring both The Pub and the Production Facility over in Elk Rapids.
In addition to having a dynamite lunch (you gotta try the soft pretzels with dipping sauces!) and sampling some delicious pub-only brews, we came up with a recipe for an ÀLC-exclusive beer.
We could not be more excited to unveil this collaboration at our upcoming beer dinner featuring Short's Brewing! And, to make it even more thrilling, guests will get to meet the legends themselves, Kerry & Joe!
Here's what the lineup is lookin' like:
* Local's Light (Lager) reception beer
* Starcut Pina Colada (Slushy) paired with PokeKai's Tuna Tots
* Mango Key Lime Ale (ÀLC collab) paired with SwedeDish's Shrimp Cup
* Ducks Fly Together (Raspberry Jalapeno Margarita IPA) paired with Steak It Easy's Brazilian Sausage
* Autumn Ale (ESB) paired with Smoke & Donuts BBQ
* Gummy Tummy (Fruited Milkshake IPA) paired with Dulce Pecado's Cherry Almond Trifle
