Shortparis präsentieren Apple Orchard, ihre vierte LP. Die Verwendung des archaischen Wortes für "Apfel" im russischen Titel Yablonny Sad ist beabsichtigt: Das Album ist eine Verschmelzung von Vergangenheit und Gegenwart, Poesie und starrer Form, Politik und Lyrik, Dissonanzen und harmonischen Dreiklängen, während seine ausdrucksstarke Kantigkeit von einem langsamen Tempo und fast sentimentalen Texten eingerahmt wird.
Jede Veröffentlichung, jede Live-Show und jedes Musikvideo von Shortparis spiegelt das einzigartige musikalische Charisma dieser Band wider, die in Russland und im Ausland von Kritikern und Publikum gleichermaßen gelobt wird.

Shortparis present Apple Orchard, their fourth LP. The use of the archaic word for ‘apple’ in its Russian title, Yablonny Sad, is deliberate: the album is an amalgamation of the past and the present, poetry and rigid form, politics and lyricism, dissonances and harmonious common triads, while its expressive edginess is framed by a slow tempo and nearly sentimental lyrics.
Every release, live show or music video by Shortparis channels the unique musical charisma of this band, unfailingly gaining wide popular and critical acclaim in Russia and abroad.
