In 1965, in a small village in Damajagua, Jánico, a young woman finds herself caught between her spiritual heritage and her family’s expectations. Her curiosity drives her to uncover the secrets her family has kept, despite her mother’s warnings. In a surreal world where the boundaries between reality and perception blur, a Woman struggles to navigate a life where freedom seems like an illusion. As she goes about her daily routines, her internal conflict deepens, all while pretending she is not catering to male fantasies. She imagines herself unseen, believing she has a life of her own, unaware that every move is orchestrated by the pervasive presence of the Man in her mind. Confusion grows as she confronts the paradox of her seemingly independent actions and the ever-present watcher within. In a moment of disquieting clarity, the Woman realizes that her sense of autonomy is an illusion, crafted by the relentless control of the Man who exists both in her world and within herself. She becomes the woman watched by a man within herself, her own voyeur, caught in the intricate web of her own perceived freedom.
