About this Event
La JOURNÉE DU COURT MÉTRAGE/KURZFILMTAG est la plus grande journée d'action consacrée au court métrage en Allemagne. Elle a toujours lieu autour du jour le plus court de l'année, le 21 décembre. Le concept vient de France, connu sous le nom "Le Jour le plus court". Depuis 2012, la Journée du court métrage/Kurzfilmtag est également organisée en Allemagne, sous la coordination de l'AG Kurzfilm – Association fédérale allemande du court métrage.
Nous profitons cette année de la Journée du court métrage pour présenter, en collaboration avec l'Alliance française d'Ottawa, le programme très apprécié SHORT EXPORT - Made in Germany :
Short Export - Made in Germany fête ses 20 ans cette année – deux décennies de découvertes originales de l’univers divers et varié du court métrage allemand ! Le programme de cette année présente un large éventail de sujets et une grande diversité en matière de format. Il est question de tensions entre liberté et responsabilité, de normes sociales, de nos limites personnelles et de la puissance du changement.
Les films seront présentés dans leur version originales avec sous-titres en français.
Le projet est une coopération franco-allemande entre AG Kurzfilm – l'Association Fédérale Allemande du Court Métrage, German Films, le Goethe-Institut Lyon, la Kurzfilm Agentur Hamburg et le Festival international du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand.
La première de la 20ème édition sous le titre Coup de cœur du court métrage allemand avait lieu le 3 février dans le cadre du 47ème Festival international du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand.

KURZFILMTAG (engl. Short Film Day) - A Celebration of Short Film for Everyone and Germany's largest event dedicated to short films. It always takes place around the shortest day of the year, December 21 and brings short films into the mainstream. It highlights the creative diversity of this often overlooked format – and also reaches people who otherwise rarely come into contact with short films. The idea for KURZFILMTAG originated in France. Since 2012, KURZFILMTAG has also been held in Germany, coordinated by AG Kurzfilm – Bundesverband Deutscher Kurzfilm (German Short Film Association).
We are taking this year's KURZFILMTAG as an opportunity to present the popular short film program SHORT EXPORT - Made in Germany together with the Alliance Française Ottawa:
SHORT EXPORT - MADE IN GERMANY celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025 - two decades full of unusual insights into the multi-facetted world of the German short film! This year's program throws a light on a wide spectrum of themes and forms of expression. The themes explored include the conflicting poles of freedom and responsibility, societal norms and personal boundaries, and the power of change.
The films will be presented in their original versions with French subtitles.
The premiere of the 20th edition, entitled Coup de cœur du court métrage allemand, took place on February 3 as part of the 47th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. The project is a German-French collaboration between AG Kurzfilm, German Films, the Goethe-Institut Lyon, Kurzfilm Agentur Hamburg, and the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.
