Short-Eared Owls at Vancouver Lake

Join us on Vancouver Lake to capture short-eared owls and other wildlife that roam the lake and surrounding area!

The short-eared owl is a tempermental hunter, so this will be a weather dependant event! If the wind is looking too strong for the owls to hear their prey we will have to consider postponing or potentially cancelling. We will give notice 48 hours prior to the set meeting time! After signing up for this event please keep an eye out for extra communication from us as we will have a more specific "secret spot" to meet that Lester will provide a few days prior to our meeting at Vancouver Lake!

Depending on availability, Pro Photo Supply's Sony representative, Dan Hawk, may also be on hand with some exclusive gear for attendees to try out and get hands-on, in-the-field experience with. Pro Photo Supply will also be providing some Sony gear from their Rental Department. Please note that this gear will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and as such all attendees are strongly encouraged to bring there own camera equipment even if they plan to test out something new, or place a rental themselves if they'd like exclusive access to any gear.

ABOUT LESTER TSAI

Lester Tsai is an award-winning professional photographer from Portland, Oregon. After spending 10 years in Singapore opening and owning several companies, he moved back stateside to New York City before returning home to the Pacific Northwest and starting his photography business. Shooting everything from real estate to weddings to portraits to pay the bills, this versatile photographer's true passion lies in nature, wildlife and astrophotography. This photo walk is limited to 20 spots with a minimum of 10 registered attendees needed. In the event the minimum isn't met, the session will be canceled and registered attendees will receive full refunds.

This event has limited space due to permit limitations, as a result, registration is required for each attendee. If you are on the waitlist for this event, you will receive a notification, via email, if a space becomes available for you.

PRICING, FEES & REFUNDS

In the event of a refund, Eventbrite Fees are not refundable. Eventbrite fees are only refunded if an event is canceled.

Refunds will be considered if submitted prior to 24 hours before a planned workshop.

Refunds are unavailable post-event date.
